Go inside a overwhelming French bistro that was only named a best new grill in America

The winners of the James Beard Awards were announced this week, crowning a best establishments and biggest players in a grill industry. Known as a Oscars of a culinary world, a row of over 600 judges comparison winners in 23 opposite categories, from “Rising Star Chef” to “Design Icon.”  

This year, a pretension of “Best New Restaurant” went to New York City’s Le Coucou. Opened in Jun 2016, a French grill is helmed by Chef Daniel Rose — who also runs a Paris-based Spring — and famed restaurateur Stephen Starr. 

Le Coucou has warranted copiousness of praise for the tasty dishes as good as the desirable dining-room setting. It was given a three-star review by New York Times food censor Pete Wells behind in November. Below, take a demeanour inside America’s best new restaurant.
